BatteryMINDer is the first of a new generation of "Computer-On-A-Chip" technology. It conditions "sulphated" batteries as well as automatically charging any type 12 volt storage battery without ever over-charging. Dubbed the charger with a "brain," it is believed to be the first charger of its kind to reverse the primary cause of early battery failure known as "sulphation". "Sulphation" batteries that were once considered beyond recovery can now be brought back to long-term useful condition.
Charger:
The BatteryMINDer is a trickle charger. It does not take the place of any bulk or heavy amp charger. As soon as the battery is finished charging the device will go into float mode to maintain the battery.
Maintainer:
The BatteryMINDer is particularly useful in maintaining batteries when they aren't in use. It keeps them fully charged, desulphated and conditioned so when you use your battery it will have like-new characteristics.
Desulphator:
The BatteryMINDer desulphates your batteries. When a battery is being discharged (or in use) the sulphuric acid (H2SO4) goes into the lead plates but when a battery is being recharged the sulphuric acid (H2SO4) leaves the lead plates. Over time, like iron and rust, a battery will become sulphated, it is a thin crystalline film over the plate of the battery that won't allow acid to go inside or go outside of the lead plates. The BatteryMINDer uses pulse technology to rupture the crystalline structure so the acid can enter into the plates and discharge and recharge back up.
Conditioner:
Sometimes you begin to notice that your battery does not last as long as you'd like for it to. Conditioning is just like a balloon, it is very elastic and if you stretch the balloon out before you blow it up, it will be much bigger. When you work at something and continue to work at it eventually you will become a professional in a field. The same works with the BatteryMINDer and how it conditions your battery, it will through the use of the computer configure the battery over time to take deeper cycles, but will never classify it as a deep cycle battery. But will stretch the life that the battery can have.
