Because the 0810-0004 battery has a sealed design, the cell or battery assembly can be positioned in any direction and still provide a powerful current. This feature makes the 0810-0004 battery easy to install. No matter what direction the battery is facing or how it is installed, the sealed design guarantees the battery will not spill or leak. Nonspillable batteries will not discharge harmful battery acid on the the hands of the operator or into the environment.

With the combined sealed design and resealable Bunsen valve, these batteries can even be operated in a vacuum. Hawker Cyclon batteries are known for their performance in low temperatures. This is possible by the use of plates that provide a high surface area and a separator system that minimizes diffusion and resists the effects of cold temperatures. Batteries offer very low internal impedance and low internal resistance. They can be completely recharged in just a few hours.

Hawker Cyclon uses the highest purity of the lead to tin grid when manufacturing their batteries. The purity of lead used exceeds 99.99 percent. This high lead to tin grid allows for battery cells to be operational for years. With proper care and normal usage, the 0810-0004 battery can last up to ten years on float charge.
