Lithium batteries are disposable (primary) batteries that have lithium metal or lithium compounds as an anode. Producing voltages from anywhere between 1.5 volts and 3 volts lithium batteries have twice the voltage or an ordinary zinc-carbon battery or alkaline cell battery. Lithium batteries are widely used in portable electronic devices such as cell phones, MP3 players, digital cameras and DVD players.

Our coin shaped cell lithium batteries come in either BR or CR models. Each has a 3-volt capacity and can be used in a variety of electronic devices. BR lithium batteries exhibit stable voltage over the entire life of the cell and consistent performance at comparatively high environmental temperatures. CR batteries have a tapered discharge profile and perform well in comparatively large current applications. CR type batteries tend to begin with a slightly higher voltage than BR batteries during discharge. For discharge currents BR batteries are better low drain and CR batteries are better for high drain.
